1) Where were you born?
I was born in an area of Toronto, Canada, known as North York.
2) Were you named after someone?
My mother once taught a girl named Tacicia. She thought the name was so beautiful that she decided to name me that. (I’m interested in changing my first name, but that is for another post.)
3) When was the last time you cried?
I’m ashamed to say I cried rather recently. A friend of mine was living her best life, and I was feeling sad that I hadn’t accomplished as much. It’s important to remember that the grass is always greener on the other side. (I may write about that one day.)
4) Do you have any kids?
I don’t have any kids. I hope to be a mother one day.
5) If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
I think I would be friends with me. I tend to be rather guarded and aloof when I first meet people, but once I decide I like someone, I’m open and fiercely loyal. I believe I would want a genuine friend, and I could find that within myself.
6) Do you have any pets?
I live with my folks, and my family is not big on pets, so no. Eventually, when I move out on my own, I want to have a Bombay cat. I’m open to having a dog as well – like a Samoyed, a Husky or an Alaskan Marlamute. (I’ve been really researching this, ha ha. I really like the look of the more Arctic dogs. I’m still looking into their disposition and care.)
7) Do you use sarcasm?
Sarcasm one of my unofficial languages. I have to work on that.
8) Would you bungie jump?
I’m not sure about bungie jumping. While I tend to be afraid of heights, I’m a bit of a risk taker. Maybe with the right person.
9) What is your favorite cereal?
I used to love frosted white Cheerios, but I can’t find them anywhere. These days, for junk cereal, I love fruit loops and Frosted Flakes. For more healthy options, I love All Bran Buds and Quaker Oats. (In case you haven’t realized, I’m a bit of a “cereal junkie,” er, *ahem* “connoisseur.”
10) What is your eye color?
I like to think of my eye colour as black. It’s probably dark brown.
11) Scary movies or happy endings?
I cannot handle scary movies at all. The most I can do is a thriller or suspenseful movie. I love a happy ending though.
12) Do you have any brothers or sisters?
I have two brothers, and I am middle child.
13) Computer or TV?
Computer all the way: there is so much more you can do with this technology.
14) What is the first thing you notice about a person?
I think the first thing I notice about people is their eyes and general attitude. Eyes are the windows to the soul and people have that one chance to make a good impression.
15) Favorite smell?
I love the smell of roses, vanilla and cinnamon. (On a random note, I’m so curious into what violets smell like. I feel like that would be a favourite.)
16) Furthest you’ve been away from home?
I’ve been to Paris, France. I’m hoping to see more of that country some day. (I have to do a travel post too.)
17) Do you have any special talents?
I absolutely love audio editing. I volunteered at a community radio for three years, and I’m so grateful for the help I have received.
18) Do you have any hobbies?
I love reading, watching Netflix and learning languages. I just started ice skating too. I want to add one more sport and some instruments to round myself out.
19) Are you in love?
I am in love with Jesus, ha ha. I’m not in love with anyone. I am happily single.
